There are two shipping options that can be setup for your store, “Shipping Zones” and “Table Rate Shipping”.
Shipping Zones
A shipping zone is a geographic region where a certain set of shipping methods are offered. We will match a customer to a single zone using their shipping address and present the shipping methods within that zone to them, you can even adjust shipping costs depending on postal code. The three current zones available are “United Kingdom”, “Europe” and “United States”.
Setting up a shipping zone:
Navigate to – Dashboard → Settings → Shipping
- Click on the first link to show the old shipping settings.
- Scroll down to the table at the bottom where you can see the available shipping zones.
- Select ‘Add Shipping Method’ on the zone you would like to use.
- From there, single or multiple shipping methods can be setup for the selected zone.
Table Rate Shipping
Table rate shipping is ideal if you would like to offer different shipping costs depending on conditional options such as “Cart Subtotal”, “Number of Items” and “Total Weight”, absolutely perfect for offering FREE delivery on orders over a set amount. You can also offer different shipping table options and methods for different shipping zones across the world.
Setting up table rate shipping:
Navigate to – Dashboard → Settings → Shipping
- Scroll down to the table at the bottom where you can start adding shipping tables.
- You can setup as many table methods and zones as you like.
